  ***  SNIFF N' SEEK SCENT CLASS  ***

THIS CLASS WILL BE OFFERED IN JANUARY 2018.
This class meets indoors at the Red Barn Kennels and outdoors at the Wildcat area of Big Canoe, weather permitting.

Scent class (nose works light) is a new sport that builds on and develops your dog's natural ability to smell and hunt.  This class is not intended to train your dog to be a professional detection dog.  The purpose of this class is to engage your dog's nose, teach the handler how to read their dogs body language, work as a team and have fun!
This class is a great confidence builder for shy dogs and teaches high energy dogs to focus.  The mental stimulation is a great way to burn off excess energy.  For puppies and dogs 6 months and up.

Dogs should be comfortable spending time in their crate.

(AKC Trick Dog Program - earn your TKN title)

We will show you how to teach your dog a variety of different tricks including spin, take a bow, say your prayers, shake, roll over, wave, crawl, sit pretty and much more!  You'll also get the opportunity to try some agility equipment (balance beam, tunnel, tire, jump).  For puppies and dogs 6 months and up.
