PUPPY CLASS - AKC STAR PUPPY CURRICULUM & CERTIFICATION
Starts Saturday, April 1 at 9 AM - six (one-hour) sessions
We'll work on house manners, basic obedience cues and allow opportunities for enrichment and socialization.
BASIC OBEDIENCE (Level 1)
Starts Friday, March 31 at 11 AM - five (one-hour) sessions
Starts Saturday, April 1 at 11 AM - five (one hour) sessions
Skills we will learn include sit, down, stay, leave it, watch me, come and loose leash walking.
BASIC OBEDIENCE (LEVEL II) CANINE GOOD CITIZEN (CGC)
& INTRO TO THERAPY DOG WORK
Starts Friday, March 31 at 9 AM - five (one-hour) sesions - CLASS FULL
This class prepares your dog to earn the Canine Good Citizen Certification which is a requirement for most therapy dog organizations. We will build on existing socialization, loose leash walking, recall, sit, down and stay skills.
BASIC OBEDIENCE (LEVEL III) ADVANCED CANINE GOOD CITIZEN (CGCA)
Starts Friday, March 31 at 1 PM - five (one-hour) sessions
Starts Saturday, April 1 at 1 PM - five (one-hour) sessions - CLASS FULL
The goal of the advanced CGC is to test the dog's CGC skills in a realistic setting. Instead of walking through a crowd in a (controlled) classroom setting, the test might involve walking thru a crowd at the outlet mall.
